Bldg4 Palace Short Black
Palace short is a heavily treated sweat jort designed with an intentionally aged, worn-in character. Cut from 100% cotton French terry in a baggy BLDG4 fleece short silhouette, it balances oversized proportions with a dense, comfortable hand feel. A heavy enzyme stone wash combined with potassium spray treatment creates deep tonal variation across the fabric, giving each piece a naturally faded, timeworn look that feels unique rather than uniform. The overall effect is one of vintage degradation, where color and texture shift across the garment with subtle intensity.
Visually, the shorts are defined by oversized graphic artwork layered across the front and extending onto the back leg, blending photography, typography, and archival-style imagery into a collage-like composition. These graphics are intentionally softened through the wash process so they feel embedded into the fabric rather than printed on top. Construction details reinforce the reconstructed aesthetic, including a raw-edge waistband with frayed detailing, exposed drawcords threaded through embroidered grommets, and a raw rolled hem that holds its shape while maintaining a distressed finish. A back patch pocket completes the design, tying together the balance of utility, comfort, and heavily worn visual character.

Made-to-order items are non-refundable. Instead, we will produce and ship a replacement piece at our own cost in the following cases:
- the parcel was lost by courier (proof will be provided by the courier after an investigation)
- you have received a wrong product (please inform us on the mistake and ship the item back within 14 days from its delivery following our return shipping instructions)
- you have received a defective item* (please inform us on the defect and ship the piece back within 14 days from its delivery following our return shipping instructions)
*Please note that we often use alternative finishing (raw edges, exposed seams, hand-dyed fabrics etc.) which is featured in product images and cannot be considered a defect. Please specify your claim in your request, and only ship the item back if we agree that it is defective and should be replaced)
We will make a financial refund in the following cases:
- the loss of the parcel has been investigated by the courier for more than 2 months, and you disagree to receive a replacement item
- we are unable to produce a replacement item (a reason will be provided)
For products that are in stock by the moment of your purchase, standard return terms are applied. The stock status of each product and size is specified in the product information. You will receive a full refund, excluding shipping cost, after sending a purchased item back, provided that it is unworn, undamaged and all the labels and packaging are kept. If you wish to receive a different size, please specify that in your request and we'll produce a replacement for you after receiving a return.
